Role Overview
The Manager - HR will be responsible for designing, executing, and sustaining HR initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, foster continuous learning, and build a strong talent pipeline for the organization. The incumbent would also be responsible for design and execution of BLP (Business Leadership Program), an entry level leadership program for Essar.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Employee Engagement

Design and implement the annual employee engagement calendar and strategy.

Partner with leadership to create initiatives that drive inclusion, recognition, and organizational culture.

Develop and implement a comprehensive employee well-being framework covering physical, emotional, mental, and financial health.

Introduce wellness programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns in partnership with external experts.

Ensure access to counseling, employee assistance programs (EAPs), and health-related resources.

Measure and track the impact of well-being initiatives on engagement, productivity, and retention.

Track and report engagement metrics with insights and recommendations.
2) Learning & Training

Design and manage learning programs, workshops, and capability-building initiatives (both classroom and digital).

Evaluate learning effectiveness and ensure measurable ROI of training interventions.
3) Talent Management
-
Contribute to performance management cycles, policies and governance

Support in designing & implementation of talent initiatives

Drive execution of individual development plans (IDPs) and career development pathways.
4) Leadership Program & Development
-
Own and drive entry level leadership program for Essar. Ownership for program design, MBA college engagement, program governance, participant orientation etc.

Support in execution of leadership development program & need analysis
5) HR Projects

Lead cross-functional HR projects on engagement, learning, and talent.

Benchmark and adopt best practices in engagement and learning.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Postgraduate in Human Resources (MBA/PGDM) or related field.

3-5 years of experience in HR

Strong program management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferrable to have exposure around driving engagement, training delivery & performance management
