General Objective of the Position:
Supervise the management and operation of all production lines within the industrial sector, including iron and aluminum factories, to ensure achievement of production plans according to the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency, in alignment with project requirements and the company’s strategic plans.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Operations and Production Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive production plans for each department (Iron – Aluminum) according to project requirements.
- Monitor daily production line operations and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Supervise manufacturing, assembly, and final finishing of products.
- Review technical drawings and plans in coordination with the engineering department to ensure execution accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with technical specifications approved by consultants and clients.
2. Quality and Development
- Implement the Quality Management System (QMS) across all production lines.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department to evaluate products at every stage of manufacturing.
- Address any technical non-conformities and take corrective actions.
- Work on improving production line efficiency and reducing waste and costs.
- Develop processes and adopt modern manufacturing technologies (CNC, powder coating, automated cutting).
3. Human Resources and Productivity Management
- Manage technical and supervisory teams across the three departments and allocate tasks based on competency.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and periodically evaluate employee performance.
- Identify recruitment and training needs in coordination with HR.
- Motivate teams and improve the work environment to achieve production and quality objectives.
4. Materials and Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory of raw materials (iron, aluminum sections, raw materials, accessories, paints).
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production stoppages.
- Monitor actual material consumption, analyze deviations, and reduce waste.
- Approve supplier purchase requests and review invoices and related financial settlements.
5. Maintenance and Safety
- Supervise preventive and periodic maintenance of all equipment and machinery across the three departments.
- Ensure occupational safety standards are applied in the workplace to prevent accidents.
- Verify that employees comply with safety procedures during operation, transport, and storage.
- Coordinate with the Safety & Security Department to train staff on first aid, firefighting, and evacuation procedures.
6. Reporting and Follow-up
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, quality, operational efficiency, and projects.
- Submit key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, including:
- Production achievement vs. plan
- Waste rate
- Breakdown rate
- Labor efficiency and operating hours
- Participate in senior management meetings and discuss ways to improve industrial performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or Operations Management.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in factory or industrial workshop management, including at least 5 years in a supervisory administrative role in iron or aluminum factories.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and architectural manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001) and modern production systems (Lean Manufacturing).
- Proficiency in planning and production software (ERP / MS Project).
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong data analysis and decision-making skills in an operational environment.
