Job Purpose
Responsible for delivering expert communication services to customers of the Shared Services & Solutions (SS&S). This role involves managing organization-wide communications for SOPC, ensuring that all internal messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with the organization’s goals and values.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Content Creation and Management

Manage the creation, editing, and distribution of internal communications, including newsletters, emails, intranet content, and other communication materials.

Ensure all content is clear, consistent, and aligned with the organization’s messaging and branding guidelines.
Employee Engagement

Design and implement communication initiatives that foster a positive organizational culture and enhance employee engagement.

Conduct surveys and gather feedback to assess the effectiveness of internal communications and identify areas for improvement.
Leadership Communication Support

Provide communication support to senior leadership, including drafting speeches, presentations, and messages.

Ensure leadership communications are aligned with organizational goals and resonate with employees.
Crisis Communication

Develop and manage internal communication plans for crisis situations, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to manage communication during emergencies and significant organizational changes.
Internal Communication Channels

Manage and optimize internal communication channels, including the intranet, email, and other digital platforms.

Ensure communication channels are effective and accessible to all employees.
Measurement and Reporting

Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and initiatives.

Prepare and present reports on communication activities, outcomes, and employee feedback to senior management.
Collaboration and Coordination

Collaborate with HR, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated communication efforts.

Coordinate with external communication teams to align internal and external messaging.
