  • Leadership, Strategy & Organizational Management
    • Provide leadership and direction to engineering teams delivering enterprise applications.
    • Build and mentor a high-performing engineering organization.
    • Manage staffing, hiring, and workforce planning.
    • Create an Agile, collaborative environment for engineering squads.
    • Establish engineering standards, governance models, and best practices.
  • Oversight of Loyalty Platform & CRM/Integration Ecosystems
    • Oversee technical direction for Siebel CRM and Loyalty platforms.
    • Guide integration frameworks involving web services, external components, and data interfaces.
    • Direct Platform Siebel upgrade strategies, version management, and workspace governance.
    • Ensure system scalability, resiliency, and performance.
    • Review and approve technical design documents and architecture proposals.
  • DevOps, CI/CD & Modern Engineering Practices
    • Provide leadership for code management and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Drive automation strategies and continuous integration practices.
    • Champion modernization initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Data Management, Analytics & Compliance
    • Oversee data retention, archival, replication, and protection strategies.
    • Govern BIP/OBIEE reporting and analytics processes.
    • Ensure engineering teams adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, including support for PCI and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements, through proper controls, documentation, and secure system design.
  • Monitoring, Stability & Operational Excellence
    • Lead monitoring and observability improvements for Platform.
    • Oversee incident management and root-cause analysis.
    • Guide engineering testing cycles including unit, system, and integration.
    • Lead off-hours support and production event communication.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with Business and IT leadership to define technical strategy.
    • Build strong relationships across engineering, product, operations, and vendors.
    • Remove cross-team impediments and resolve technical escalations.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT solution delivery experience.
  • 3+ years leading engineering or product teams.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms, integrations, automation, and data governance.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Airline industry experience.
  • Experience with platform modernization and upgrade initiatives.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Strong management and coaching skills.
  • Executive-level communication capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of integrations, platform engineering, and automation.
