Position Overview:
The
Manager-Logistics Centers
is a leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of the daily Shift Operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of FFE (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment) & OSE (Operating Supplies and Equipment). This role is responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. The Shift Manager will coordinate logistics, monitor inventory, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Team Leadership and Supervision:

Manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maintain team morale and efficiency.
Operational Oversight:
-
Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of FF&E, OS&E, F&B inventory during assigned shifts.

Ensure all warehouse activities align with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and meet quality standards.

Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality and coordinating maintenance as needed.
Inventory Management:

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all outbound customer orders by verifying pick lists, conducting final checks, and coordinating with warehouse and dispatch teams to minimize delivery errors.

Track and report inventory levels, discrepancies, and damages to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

Implement loss prevention measures and ensure proper handling of high-value items.
Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards promptly.

Train staff on safe handling of items, including heavy or oversized furniture and equipment.
Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of inventory.

Manage loading and unloading processes to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.

Resolve any logistical issues that arise during the shift.
Performance and Reporting:

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and inventory turnover.

Provide shift reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

The role requires working in a warehouse setting with exposure to moving machinery, heavy equipment, with a varied inventory range.

Shift work is required, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
Qualification and Experience
:

Extensive experience in logistics with a significant track record of leadership.

In-depth knowledge of industry standards, and best practices.

Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred although not compulsory.

Minimum of 5-7 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Experience in FF&E operations or handling oversized/heavy inventory is highly desirable.
