Manager Medical Services

Karwan-e-Hayat (KeH) Institute for Mental Health Care is inviting applications for the position of Manager Medical Services.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the medical team, ensuring adherence to best practices, guidelines, and regulations in Psychiatric care.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other department heads to develop and implement clinical protocols that promote effective Patient management.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in psychiatric medicine, therapies, and treatments, incorporating innovative approaches into the hospital's care framework.

Patient Care and Safety:

• Ensure that patients receive appropriate and evidence-based psychiatric assessments, treatments, and interventions, in collaboration with the medical team.
• Oversee the coordination of patient care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and regularly reviewed for effectiveness.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychology, social work, occupational therapy, and more, to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as referring physicians, community organizations, and regulatory bodies.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, laws, and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission and state licensing requirements.
• Oversee medical record documentation, coding, and billing processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the development of hospital-wide strategic plans and initiatives related to medical services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Participate in budget planning, resource allocation, and equipment procurement for the medical department.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of psychiatrists, medical officers, nurses, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development within the medical team.

Qualification & Experience:

• MBBS and Master’s in Public Health (MPH) with valid PMDC registration.
• Minimum 5–6 years of managerial experience, including at least 3 years in medical services within a medium or large healthcare institute.

Monday–Friday with two Alternate Saturdays

Flexible Timings: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
