We are seeking a
Manager – Mobilization & Projects
, a regional role within DC Engineering & Asset Management, reporting to the Senior Manager, DC Engineering. This position is accountable for leading the technical execution and mobilization of engineering projects across operational critical infrastructure sites and data center facilities.
The role involves supporting and reviewing the technical requirements for site operations, overseeing site mobilization, engineering projects—including expansions and upgrades—and ensuring alignment with data center performance, reliability, and efficiency standards. It ensures a seamless transition from project planning to operational readiness, in compliance with SFG20, OSHAD, and country-specific regulatory frameworks.
Furthermore, the role is responsible for the timely and effective resolution of incidents and technical issues, providing technical expertise, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery, with a strong focus on building automation and controls. The Manager will also focus on maintaining high system availability, optimizing support processes, and delivering exceptional support to site operations.
Key Accountabilities:

Oversee and manage Data Center infrastructure upgrade projects, including planning, budgeting, vendor selection and execution for data center operations

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify challenges for new builds, expansions and retrofits

Ensure full compliance of data center operations with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols, including ISO, Uptime Institute, and local regulations

Support to develop and maintain engineering documentation, SOPs and best practices to ensure operational consistency across the data center portfolio

Review & optimize preventive and corrective maintenance programs to improve system reliability and minimize unplanned downtime for smooth data center operations

Identify and address single points of failure (SPOFs), implementing redundancy measures for critical infrastructure components
-
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and industry innovations to enhance data center engineering best practices

Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with facility management and engineering teams to assess ELV & controls system requirements and implement effective solutions.

Develop & monitor ELV assets performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Develop and maintain documentation for system specifications, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.

Provide technical support and training to facility staff on ELV & controls systems operations and best practices.

Required to carry out timely repairs and corrective maintenance on equipment to avoid any risk and ensure management of overall site capacity.

Oversees contractor work and FM operations ensure completion to Khazna's required standards, (KPI's) Key Performance Indicators and (SLA's) Service Level Agreements

Ensure FM teams work safely, optimally and with high regard to human error avoidance.

Facilitates testing, project management, and resolving incidents.
-
Manage customer requirements such as inquiries, deployment, expansion, tours, etc. and prioritize customer’s emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and make every effort to provide a long-term resolution.

Resolve concerns, incidents and issues raised by customer(s), monitor investigation and recommend corrective actions as necessary and ensure service continuity is provided in a professional and safe manner.

Coordinate & liaises with project team and execute mobilization plans for new sites, including level 4& ISAT testing’s, handover documentations review and accept, asset collection and onboarding, support the preventive maintenance setup, and compliance documentation.

Review the maintenance library (Checklist) and workflows based on asset type (e.g., generators, lifts, fire systems).

Coordinate & liaises with project team & OEM partners, & train site operations teams on operational protocols such as SOP, MOP & EOP, and audit readiness.

Ensure CAFM and SharePoint systems are updated with mobilization data.
-
Follow the documentation of processes, incident reports, and resolution playbooks is up-to-date and accessible.

Incident and Problem Management especially for the ELV & Controls systems.

Oversee the resolution of escalated technical issues, ensuring adherence to SLAs and customer satisfaction.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions especially for the ELV & Controls systems.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address recurring issues and improve system reliability.
-
Provide regular updates to the manager on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
-
Ensure all support activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Identify and mitigate risks related to technical support operations and data centre infrastructure.
-
Support the Manager DC Eng & Asset management in executing strategic initiatives and achieving departmental goals.
-
Apply SFG20 and UAE standards to all technical outputs.
-
Conduct gap analysis and implement corrective actions for compliance deviations.
-
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet ABC and department requirements, policies, and quality standards

Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Specialized in electrical, mechanical or electronics & communications)
Minimum Experience:
-
7+ years of experience in project management or Project delivery specifically ELV & Controls systems critical environments.

Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, energy management, and relevant codes/standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA).

Proficiency in ELV & Controls Network & Logics design software and building management systems (BMS).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
