Manager-Procurement(Steel structures)

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Manage end-to-end procurement of steel, raw materials, consumables, and related services.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while driving supplier performance improvement.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and supply-demand fluctuations in the steel industry.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
• Optimize inventory levels and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and finance to streamline processes.
• Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and forecasts for management review.

Requirements

• 8–20 years of experience in procurement within the steel or construction industry (raw material & consumables).
• Strong knowledge of steel grades, specifications, and industry suppliers.
• Proven negotiation, contract management, and vendor development skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
