Manager Product Strategist - Progressive Life

As a manager product strategist with Progressive Life, you'll lead and coach a team responsible for developing product ideas and advancing workstreams that support key initiatives. Progressive Life, developed and launched within Level20, our business incubator, now operates independently as we expand into new markets. In this role, you'll serve as the central point for evaluating and refining ideas, helping teams define the right problems, and translating work into clear priorities, frameworks, and roadmaps that guide product direction. You'll ensure clear ownership and accountability from concept through delivery while balancing strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach. You'll also partner closely with business and technology teams to connect work across systems and processes, challenging thinking when needed, and using data to guide decisions and measure outcomes as the business continues to scale.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland OH (Office Location: 800 W Saint Clair Ave STE 200, Cleveland, Ohio 44113) with free parking. Work-from-home-days are possible for this position (Monday and Friday).

Must-have qualifications

  • A minimum of 11 years of professional work experience managing the definition and delivery of digital products or services
  • {Or} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 8 years of professional work experience managing the definition and delivery of digital products or services

Preferred skills

  • Demonstrated people management experience, including coaching and development; strong communication and influence across teams and leadership
  • Comfort working across product, technology, and design, with a strong understanding of how systems and processes connect
  • Demonstrated success in leading initiatives from idea through delivery, including defining success metrics and measuring impact
  • Proven ability to build or improve processes; familiarity with Lean/Agile methodologies
  • Experience working in regulated environments, including navigating compliance considerations

Compensation

  • $130,000 - $180,000/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
