Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization.
- Establish internal quality standards, AQL levels and lab testing requirements at incoming material stage.
- Develop and update Quality Manuals, SOPs, inspection checklists, and work instructions.
- Define and approve product quality specifications, tolerances, and finishing standards.
- Maintain and control master samples, reference boards, workmanship guides, and style standard libraries.
- Conduct internal quality system audits across all production stages to verify QMS compliance.
- Identify system-level quality gaps and lead corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Perform structured root cause analysis for defects, process failures, customer claims, and recurring issues.
- Implement preventive quality controls to reduce dependency on final inspection.
- Lead supplier quality assurance procedures including supplier evaluation, performance scoring, and improvement programs.
- Approve/standardize material testing requirements for leather, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Develop training content and conduct skill development sessions for QC inspectors and production teams.
- Coordinate with R&D and Development teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into new product trials.
- Work with Merchandising to interpret customer requirements, specifications, and compliance expectations.
- Collaborate with PPC to integrate quality stages and hold-points into production workflows.
- Monitor Quality KPIs at system level and lead regular Quality Performance Review meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction, cost-of-poor-quality reduction, and process efficiency enhancement.
- Promote a culture of quality ownership, discipline, correction-before-defect, and teamwork across all levels.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Textile Engineering or relevant field Any certification Lean Six Sigma or ISO 9001.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in QC & QA within apparel/textile/gloves industry.
- Hands-on experience in buyer audits, lab testing, and QMS implementation.
- Experience in managing a team of minimum 5 people
- Should communicate, plans and form strategies regarding quality control and assurance

Pay: Rs175,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
