QA & Release Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a QA & Release Manager to lead our testing team and take full ownership of the release process. This is not a purely managerial role — it requires someone who actively contributes to testing strategy, develops test cases, and builds automation frameworks. You’ll work closely with a motivated QA team that benefits from clear guidance and technical involvement, ensuring timely, high-quality product deliveries through direct engagement and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor QA team of currently 3 engineers
• Own and drive the complete release process from testing to delivery
• Implement and maintain points-based tracking system for testing progress
• Coordinate with development teams on bug fixes and verification
• Establish release checkpoints and quality gates
• Maintain test documentation and regression suites
• Serve as bridge between QA team and management

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years QA experience with 2+ years in leadership role
• Experience managing release cycles for desktop applications
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
• Ability to work independently and drive processes forward
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with full professional proficiency in English.

Preferred:

• Experience with CAD/3D Modeling software testing
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks
• Familiarity with JIRA for task tracking, sprint planning, and cross-team coordination
