The Sales Manager will lead the sales initiatives for industrial automation solutions, including PLC systems, SCADA, process control, substation automation, and instrumentation solutions. This role is focused on driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, tendering, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and exceptional sales acumen to deliver results aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for industrial automation solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key sectors, including manufacturing, energy, utilities, and process industries.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective lead generation, qualification, and conversion strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare competitive sales proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Drive negotiations and secure high-value contracts while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Understand client needs and align product/service offerings to meet their automation and process optimization requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations and work towards timely resolutions to maintain strong relationships.
Tender & Proposal Management
- Review and analyze tender documents to identify scope, requirements, and strategic fit.
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications and deadlines.
- Conduct risk assessments and pricing analyses to create competitive yet profitable bids.
Market & Business Development
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in industrial automation.
- Expand market reach by targeting untapped industries, geographic regions, and strategic partnerships.
- Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, and forums to promote solutions and build brand visibility.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Manage and mentor a team of sales engineers, providing guidance to achieve team and individual sales targets.
- Coordinate with the technical, execution, and finance teams to ensure seamless project handovers and client satisfaction.
- Ensure alignment between sales efforts and company objectives, promoting collaboration across departments.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track sales performance against targets and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, market feedback, and client interactions for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- MBA in Marketing or Business Management (preferred).
Experience
- 8+ years of proven sales experience in industrial automation, process control, or related engineering solutions.
- Strong expertise in selling PLCs, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation, and automation solutions.
Technical Skills
- In-depth understanding of industrial automation products and solutions.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and sales strategies in engineering projects.

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
