Manager Sales & Commercial Operations (Pharmaceutical)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical sales, credit management, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of medicine flow, channel management, and business development strategies within the pharma sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee sales operations (medicines) across assigned territories or channels
  • Handle credit control processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation with distributors/clients
  • Ensure smooth end-to-end flow of medicines from warehouse to market
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, pharmacies, and healthcare partners
  • Identify and drive business development opportunities to expand market share
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Finance, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, credit management, and distribution networks
  • Proven experience in business development and market expansion
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical distributors and stockists
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in pharma
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure
