We are hiring for residential inverter (and optional ESS/battery) business in Pakistan. This is a revenue-owner role combining rapid customer conversion (existing relationships) with scalable channel and team building. The right candidate should be able to drive first meaningful shipments and cash collection within 90 days, and build a repeatable channel model and operating cadence within 6-12 months.Key Responsibilities1) Revenue, margin and cash collection
· Own annual revenue, gross margin and cash collection targets for Pakistan.
· Convert existing customer relationships into fast, verifiable business (not just a contact list) and deliver stable shipments and payments within the first 90 days.
· Lead negotiations with top distributors / installers / EPCs: pricing framework, rebate scheme, quarterly targets, joint marketing plans and commercial terms (within company policy).2) Channel strategy and scalable growth
· Design and execute channel segmentation: national distributor / regional distributors / core installers / retail outlets (and online lead conversion where applicable).
· Build channel policies: price protection, anti-grey-market rules, rebates, MDF/marketing support, and annual cooperation agreements.
· Establish “model markets” (pilot cities/partners) and replicate playbooks nationwide.3) Team leadership and cross-cultural collaboration
· Build and lead the local sales team: hiring, coaching, target breakdown, pipeline management and performance routines.
· Work effectively with China HQ across product, pricing, delivery, marketing and after-sales to ensure fast execution and consistent messaging.
· Set up a sales operating system: pipeline dashboard, weekly/monthly reviews, customer tiering and AR risk alerts.Qualifications (Must-Have)
1. Pakistani national; willing to be based in Lahore with frequent nationwide travel.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in the solar PV industry (residential inverters/ESS preferred); 5-8 years of management experience (team and/or channel management).
3. Proven team leadership experience (e.g., led 3-8+ members) with a structured sales management approach.
4. Proven annual sales track record of USD 2M+ (in inverters/ESS/residential solar systems preferred), with references or verifiable evidence.
5. MOST IMPORTANT: an existing, convertible customer network in residential inverter business (distributors / installers / EPCs) that can be activated quickly.
6. Strong communication skills and cross-cultural collaboration capability; fluent in English (Urdu/Punjabi a plus).Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
· Successful experience launching a new brand or scaling a channel model in Pakistan (0-to-1 or 1-to-10).
· Solid technical understanding to engage installers (hybrid/on-off grid scenarios, battery compatibility, after-sales basics).
· Strong commercial discipline: price system design, channel profitability model, anti-dumping/anti-grey-market controls, and AR risk control.90-Day Success Indicators (Example)
