Manager Solar - Electrical

We are hiring Manager Solar - Electrical to lead the planning, design, execution, operation, and maintenance of solar power projects and renewable energy initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of solar systems, maximizing energy generation, reducing operational costs, and supporting the organization's sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Solar Program Management

• Develop and implement strategies for solar energy adoption and integration.
• Manage solar project portfolios from concept to commissioning.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance indicators.
• Ensure achievement of renewable energy and sustainability objectives.

Technical Management

• Review solar system designs, load assessments, and interconnection studies.
• Evaluate grid integration requirements and system performance.
• Coordinate with planning, operations, and protection departments to maintain network reliability.
• Support development of technical standards and procedures for solar installations.

Project Execution

• Manage procurement, contractor selection, and project implementation activities.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of solar projects.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to technical specifications.
• Resolve project-related technical and operational issues.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with customers, consultants, contractors, equipment and suppliers.
• Address stakeholder concerns related to solar interconnections and project implementation.

Financial & Commercial Oversight

• Prepare project budgets, business cases, and financial analyses.
• Monitor project costs and ensure effective budget utilization.
• Evaluate economic feasibility and return on investment for solar initiatives.
• Support tariff, incentive, and renewable energy program assessments.

Upkeep, Reporting & Analytics

• Upkeep of existing system in case of contingency.
• Prepare management reports on solar installations, net metering performance, project progress, and energy generation.
• Analyze solar penetration trends and network impacts.
• Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
