Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the coffee shop, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of baristas and support staff to provide exceptional service.
- Ensure high-quality coffee preparation and maintain consistency in beverages according to company standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring the availability of high-quality coffee beans, equipment, and supplies.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain a positive experience for all guests.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Create and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
- Manage cash handling, daily sales reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry standards.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty through promotions and excellent service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Coffee Shop Manager or in a similar leadership role in a specialty coffee shop or café.
- Passion for coffee and knowledge of various brewing methods and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic financial reporting.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with POS systems (e.g., Foodics, Odoo).
- Barista certification or related coffee-related training.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee beans, roasts, and tasting profiles.
