Job Summary
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, dispatch activities, transportation, and logistics coordination while ensuring accurate system management through SAP Business One (SAP B1). The role ensures efficient material flow, stock accuracy, timely deliveries, cost control, and compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure proper stock arrangement, space utilization, and warehouse housekeeping.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO implementation where applicable.
- Supervise warehouse staff, storekeepers, and logistics teams.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reconciliation.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.
Logistics & Distribution
- Plan and monitor transportation and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters and internal departments for timely dispatches.
- Optimize logistics costs and improve delivery efficiency.
- Monitor vehicle utilization and logistics KPIs.
SAP Business One (SAP B1)
- Manage warehouse and inventory transactions in SAP B1.
- Ensure accurate GRN, delivery notes, stock transfers, and inventory postings.
- Generate inventory and logistics reports from SAP B1.
- Coordinate with IT/SAP teams for system improvements and issue resolution.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance within SAP B1 processes.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and audit requirements.
- Prepare warehouse and logistics performance reports.
- Develop and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in warehouse & logistics management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, and transportation management.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
