Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials/products.
- Ensure proper inventory storage and stock arrangement as per operational standards.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and optimize storage capacity.
- Implement warehouse SOPs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock accuracy through periodic reconciliations and cycle counts.
- Ensure timely stock verification and physical inventory audits.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales departments for stock planning and availability.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
- Maintain inventory records through ERP/WMS systems.
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage transportation and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with transporters, third-party logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and delivery performance.
- Optimize freight and transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and documentation.
Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse and logistics staff.
- Allocate duties, monitor performance, and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Conduct training on warehouse handling, safety, and operational procedures.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, GMP, HSE, and regulatory requirements (especially for Pharma/FMCG environments).
- Prepare warehouse and logistics performance reports, KPIs, inventory reports, and operational dashboards.
- Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, dispatch timelines, delivery efficiency, stock losses, and warehouse utilization.
Process Improvement
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop cost-saving opportunities in warehousing and transportation.
- Improve warehouse layout and operational workflow for better efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain/Logistics will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in Warehouse & Logistics operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in Pharma, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Distribution industry preferred.
Pay: From Rs300,000.00 per month
