Key Responsibilities:

1. Pharmacy Operations

· Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring timely and accurate dispensing of medications.

· Develop and implement pharmacy protocols and policies aligned with hospital standards.

2. Regulatory Compliance

· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH,).

· Maintain proper records for controlled substances and manage regular audits.

3. Clinical Collaboration

· Work closely with physicians and nurses to provide drug information and support clinical decision-making.

· Monitor and improve medication safety practices, including adverse drug reaction reporting and medication error tracking.

4. Staff Supervision

· Train, and supervise pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff.

· Conduct performance reviews and support continuing education and professional development.

5. Inventory & Supply Chain Management

· Monitor medication inventory, manage procurement, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

· Prevent stockouts, overstocking, and wastage of medications.

6. Budgeting & Financial Management

· Develop and manage the pharmacy budget.

· Analyze drug usage and implement cost-containment strategies.

7. Quality & Safety Initiatives

· Lead quality assurance initiatives related to pharmaceutical services.

· Ensure compliance with infection control, storage standards, and documentation practices.

8. Technology & System Integration

· Oversee implementation and usage of pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records (EMRs).

· Ensure effective use of automated dispensing systems, if available.

9.Technical Skills:

· Thorough knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and clinical protocols

· Familiarity with EHR systems and pharmacy software (e.g., HIS)

· Understanding of drug storage requirements, cold chain logistics, and compounding

10.Soft Skills:

· Strong leadership and team management abilities

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Analytical thinking and decision-making

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
