Position: Manager / Senior Manager -OPD Pharmacy

Location: Medanta Noida, Sector -50

Working Days: 6 Days (Work from Office)


Overview:

To oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and sales of the OPD pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, adherence to quality standards, optimal inventory management, and exceptional customer service. The role also focuses on driving pharmacy sales and improving conversion rates from OPD consultations to enhance revenue performance.


Key Responsibilities:


Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily OPD pharmacy operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure timely and correct dispensing of medications as per prescriptions and indents.

Sales & Conversion:

  • Drive OPD pharmacy sales and implement strategies to improve conversion from OPD consultations.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and take corrective actions to achieve revenue targets.

Inventory Management:

  • Plan and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure product availability while minimizing expiries and wastage.
  • Oversee receipt, storage, and handling of medicines as per quality and safety norms.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, train, and motivate pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to SOPs and professional conduct standards.

Customer Service:

  • Promote a patient-centric culture by ensuring courteous and prompt service delivery.
  • Handle customer queries and grievances effectively to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Process & Compliance:

  • Establish and continuously review SOPs to improve operational consistency and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory norms, documentation requirements, and audit readiness.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy
  • 15–18 years of experience in hospital pharmacy operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and improve OPD-to-pharmacy conversion rates.
