Managing Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Managing Director to lead our organization towards sustainable growth and operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping strategic direction, overseeing financial management, and fostering a high-performance culture. Your leadership will drive innovation, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial acumen, strategic planning expertise, and a proven track record of managing complex organizations within diverse sectors.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans aligned with organizational goals to ensure long-term success.
  • Lead financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and fiscal management to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
  • Oversee accounting functions such as corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, technical accounting (including ASC 606 revenue recognition), and compliance management in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, investment management, risk analysis, and risk management strategies to safeguard assets.
  • Supervise financial reporting processes—preparing, interpreting, and presenting financial statements—ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory reporting standards.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities for growth and expanding organizational impact through innovative strategies.
  • Lead a diverse team of finance professionals, fostering leadership development and promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Ensure effective cost control measures are in place across all departments including cost accounting, cost management, and budget oversight.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions to support compliance and operational integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Managing Director or senior executive role with extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and governmental accounting practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance, financial analysis, strategic planning, risk analysis, investment management, and fiscal management.
  • Strong background in accounting disciplines including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and cash flow analysis.
  • Proficiency with financial software systems and tools used for financial report writing, interpretation, forecasting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams while managing complex projects involving regulatory reporting standards such as ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Excellent communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and presenting insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field is required; advanced certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of public accounting practices along with experience in risk management strategies tailored to organizational needs. Pay: $60,013.91 - $72,274.81 per year
