Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Managing Director (MD) / CEO to lead the establishment and growth of Foundation Health Ethiopia. The MD will provide strategic direction, financial oversight, and operational excellence while driving innovation in healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the organization’s strategic vision and growth plan.
• Oversee operations, financial management, and long-term sustainability.
• Build and lead a diverse, high-performing healthcare team.
• Ensure excellence in service delivery through technology and best practices.
• Strengthening stakeholder relationships with government, regulators, and healthcare partners.
• Represent the organization as its primary spokesperson at national and international forums.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine, Public Health, Business Administration, or Finance.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business or Healthcare Management preferred.
• 15–20 years of professional experience with 10+ years in senior leadership (healthcare sector required).
• Proven record in P&L management, operations leadership, and strategic planning.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Global healthcare exposure and health insurance knowledge are advantages.
