Description

We are looking for a creative Manual Jewellery Designer with experience in designing solitaire and diamond jewellery. The role involves creating original hand-drawn designs, developing new concepts, and working closely with internal teams to bring designs from concept to production. The ideal candidate should have strong artistic skills along with a good understanding of market trends and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original manual sketches for solitaire and diamond jewellery
• Develop new design concepts and collections
• Research jewellery trends and customer preferences
• Prepare detailed sketches with measurements and design notes
• Coordinate with CAD and production teams for design execution
• Work on customized and client-specific jewellery designs
• Ensure designs meet quality and brand standards

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Jewellery Design, Gemmology, Fine Arts, or related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in manual jewellery designing
• Strong knowledge of diamond and solitaire jewellery
• Excellent hand sketching and detailing skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with luxury or premium jewellery brands
• Certification in Gemology or Diamond Grading (GIA or equivalent) is an advantage
