JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to optimize production efficiency while maintaining cost-effective and high-quality outputs. The role supports design for manufacturability, resolves technical production challenges, and ensures smooth introduction of new processes and products using Lean Manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities

Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products

Create and maintain BOMs and routings for new and existing part numbers

Design and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to enhance efficiency and quality

Develop, test, and justify tools, machinery, and equipment for new or improved production methods

Identify and resolve production workflow issues such as bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and machine reliability
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles

Prepare facility layouts and equipment drawings using CAD software

Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing and production teams

Recommend and implement improvements to processes, methods, and controls

Support quoting and order management processes with technical input

Develop and maintain technical procedures, reports, and documentation

Participate in problem-solving activities and root cause analysis
Skills
-
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine design, welding, and CNC machining
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Basic knowledge of Six Sigma principles (certification is a plus)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Mechanically inclined with attention to detail
Qualifications

0–2 years of experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field)

Lean Green Belt / Black Belt or Six Sigma certification is an advantage
