Manufacturing Manager

Legacy Building Solutions LLC is growing, and we are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our team!

The Manufacturing Manager’s primary duties and responsibilities are detailed in this job description.

• Overseeing planning, organization and control of workloads with-in departments
• Aligning production workflow with arrival of material needs, appropriate staffing and assessing overtime needs.
• Set up standards of performance, measure progress, set up and control workflow to balance workload within production timelines
• Responsible for all technical aspects of the operations
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products and delivery time based on production scheduling
• Review schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, work procedures, duty assignments considering budgetary limitations and time constraints
• Provide direction, development and leadership to production supervisors/leaders
• Oversee safety and general housekeeping of departments and crew
• Ability to manage change and maintain credibility with all production employees
• Lead continuous improvements and identifying opportunities
• Recommend, purchases and planning installation of equipment
• Maintain labor hours on projects
• Organize and manage material inventory and scrap
• Administer day-to-day department discipline of company policies and conduct standards, including break and lunch times
• Oversee hiring/training of department personnel

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in managing and leading in a production environment
• Broad knowledge and the ability to implement and provide quality control based on ISO
• Knowledge and experience in welding and quality with Certificates/Certification in both
• Must have the ability to create/develop budgets and work within them
• Ability to coordinate plant activities and value stream workflow with departmental supervisors/leaders
• Excellent communication skills and Basic computer skills
• Must be a team player that maintains high integrity while meeting company goals
