Job Title: Marine HVAC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform marine HVAC design and engineering activities for new builds and retrofits.
• Conduct heat load calculations proficiency in HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) will be an added advantage.
• Design and implement chilled water systems for marine applications.
• Carry out HVAC estimation for marine projects, including cost and resource planning.
• Manage vendor and equipment selection, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in marine HVAC systems.
• Experience in heat load calculations; exposure to HAP software preferred.
• Proven expertise in chilled water system design and execution.
• Familiarity with HVAC estimation specific to marine industry projects.
• Demonstrated ability in vendor/equipment selection and supplier management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Good to Have:

• Prior experience working in the shipbuilding/marine industry.
• Knowledge of international marine HVAC standards and codes.
