We are seeking a proactive, confident and customer-focused Guest Advisor to provide excellent customer service to hotel guests in addition to engaging and selling tours of UAE attractions. The role is focused on welcoming guests, assisting with hotel check-in when required, answering guest queries, and ensuring a positive overall experience.

We are seeking an experienced Market Manager to manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.

The role focuses on strengthening partnerships with international tour operators, identifying growth opportunities, and developing market strategies to enhance Desert Gate’s market presence and revenue.

The ideal candidate should have a strong DMC background, in-depth product knowledge in the UAE, with Oman, Qatar, and Indian Ocean being an advantage.

Experience working with UK, Europe or ECC markets with a fluency in Czech, Polish, Italian, or another European language is preferred.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage client accounts on a day-to-day basis, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize business opportunities.
  • Provide consistent two-way communication between clients and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular meetings, sales calls, and business reviews to strengthen partnerships and align goals.

Revenue Growth & Market Development

  • Be fully accountable for achieving and growing revenue within assigned key accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned markets to expand the client portfolio.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client performance to propose actionable sales strategies.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts in coordination with the Department Head.

Financial Management

  • Oversee account financial reconciliation and forecasting.
  • Support the Finance team with accurate tracking and reporting of account receivables.

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date client records in the company system, ensuring accurate tracking of activities and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports such as Sales Call Activities, New Accounts, and Market Performance.
  • Coordinate and conduct site inspections, familiarisation (FAM) trips and client visits when required.
  • Ensure client correspondence and documentation are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Attend to other tasks or duties assigned by the Department Head.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field preferred
  • Industry Experience – Minimum of 3 years of sales or account management experience within a Destination Management Company (DMC), with proven UAE destination expertise.
  • Specialist Knowledge – strong exposure to UK or European (ECC) markets and a deep understanding of source-market dynamics and an in-depth knowledge of UAE products and experiences.
  • Communication – excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage client expectations and resolve issues effectively.
  • Technical Acumen – experience in forecasting, budgeting, and payment follow-up would be an advantage
  • Problem Solving - analytical mindset with the ability to interpret trends and propose strategic solutions
  • Language Skills – Fluent in English (spoken and written) is essential, with Czech, Polish, Italian, or another European language is preferred.
