The opportunity

Support the Front-End Sales team in Marketing and Sales activities for the High Voltage business unit and represent the interests of the organization in the given country. Develop profitable and sustainable sales for the complete High Voltage business unit portfolio in the given country. Implement the business unit strategies in conjunction with the Front-End Sales, Hub Marketing & Sales and Global Marketing & Sales.


How you’ll make an impact

  • Sales strategy and develop and implement market strategies to achieve High Voltage business unit growth targets. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and execute plans effectively.

  • Market Analysis to conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Identify market opportunities and threats, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Market coverage manages and it is responsible for the demand market for the business unit including third party sales, internal sales, and channels. Manage and is responsible for the business unit demand-side budget of the country.

  • Bid and proposal facilitate to develop and to approve of proposals to support effective negotiations. Manage the quotation process to achieve the best possible outcomes. Ensure that all status updates and documentation are meticulously recorded in the appropriate systems. Take local responsibility for the business unit's portfolio, maintaining accurate data for the project pipeline, order forecasts, and competitive insights.

  • Negotiation and contract management serve as the primary representative for the business unit in country-specific negotiations and contract management. Lead customer negotiations by tactically and operationally steering discussions, while incorporating guidance from the business unit.

  • Sales and revenue growth and drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue goals within the assigned market area. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing relationships with key customers and partners.

  • Product positioning and Marketing to work with marketing teams to position products effectively within the market, tailoring messaging to meet regional demands. Coordinate product launches and promotional activities with Product Marketing teams in the factories.

  • Relationship management to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers. Serve as the primary point of contact for market-related in queries and feedback.

  • Budget management to develop and manage the market budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals. Monitor financial performance and report on market contributions to overall business objectives.

  • After sales activities to organize and promote after sales activities. Ensure appropriate order handling of products/systems. Ensure contracts are appropriately managed with adherence to payment terms. If applicable, conduct postmortem analyses on the offers and ensure that all information is accurately updated in Salesforce.

  • Performance tracking defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of market strategies and initiatives.

  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.

  • Training and serve as the primary trainer for front-end sales teams, equipping them with in-depth knowledge of the High Voltage portfolio, solutions, and applications to enhance their sales capabilities and drive customer success.

  • People leadership and development lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

  • Provide guidance and support for professional growth, ensuring team members have the skills and resources they need to excel in their roles.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development preferably in High Voltage.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to develop and implement effective market strategies that align with broader business objectives and adapt to changing market conditions.

  • Strong ability to analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities, make informed decisions, and drive business growth.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey strategies, reports, and presentations to various stakeholders

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
