Dependable Nursing has proudly served San Diego for over 20 years, providing skilled home healthcare and therapy for pediatrics, seniors, veterans, and active duty military families. As a Medicare-certified, VA-approved, Tricare-approved, and SDRC/ Self-Determination vendor provider, we are growing and seeking a Marketer & HR Support Coordinator to help expand our referral network while maintaining compliance and HR excellence within our team.


Position Overview


This is a dual-focused role that combines business development support with HR and compliance coordination. The Marketer & HR Support Coordinator plays a key role in driving patient growth through outreach while ensuring our internal team remains fully compliant, supported, and ready to deliver high-quality care.

Success in this role will be measured by outreach activity, appointments booked, referrals that convert to admissions, and timely HR/compliance upkeep. This position is part of a collaborative team environment where everyone is expected to be flexible and jump in where needed to support patients, staff, and the agency’s mission.


Key Responsibilities


Marketing & Outreach Support

  • Conduct outreach calls/emails to referral partners (SDRC, Self-Determination, VA, Tricare, Medicare, SNFs, hospitals, physicians, social workers).
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and provide service information.
  • Book and coordinate onsite meetings/presentations for the owner and field marketer.
  • Track calls, leads, and appointments in CRM/EMR systems.
  • Support marketing campaigns, outreach lists, and community engagement efforts.
  • Assist with research to identify and nurture new referral opportunities.

HR & Compliance Coordination

  • Support onboarding: collect new hire paperwork, assist with orientation, and transition employee files into digital format.
  • Monitor expiring licenses, credentials, and training; follow up with staff to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct applicant phone screens, reference checks, and scheduling for interviews.
  • Perform patient care follow-ups for quality feedback.
  • Maintain monthly supply inventory and provide general office administrative support.
  • Ensure compliance with HR and regulatory standards (Medicare, VA, Medi-Cal, Tricare).
  • Support daily operations as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements:


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing support, HR, referral coordination, or compliance (home health preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills (especially by phone/email).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Paylocity and/or Axxess a plus.
  • Professional, reliable, and motivated by results.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
