Marketing and Brand Support Specialist

We are Resort Lifestyle Communities, a family-owned company established over twenty years ago. We own and operate all-inclusive resort-style, 55 and over independent living, retirement communities all across the nation. Our Home Office is based out of Lincoln, Nebraska and we are rapidly growing and expanding! We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Brand Support Specialist to join our cohesive Marketing Team.
As a Marketing & Brand Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting community growth and occupancy goals through the creation and execution of localized marketing campaigns and initiatives that attract qualified leads and strengthen our brand presence in the market.
This multifaceted role manages our Marketplace internal storefront, oversees community supply orders, sources branded merchandise, and ensures communities have timely access to approved marketing materials. You’ll provide essential support for company meetings and events, coordinating logistics, vendor relations, and promotional efforts to ensure flawless execution. Blending creativity with exceptional organizational skills, the Marketing & Brand Support Specialist thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality results that fuel the growth and success of our communities and company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Marketing & Outreach Support
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of marketing and advertising strategies, including monthly campaign themes and messaging to increase lead generation in local markets.
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling and execution of community email blasts, postcards, and competitor mailings to support marketing outreach efforts.
  • Pull and manage mailing lists for email blasts, competitor mailings, and postcard campaigns.
  • Collaborate on social media initiatives and assist with posting content as needed.
  • Review and code all marketing invoices in AvidX and Concur.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks to support other marketing department functions.
Oversee Marketplace & Community Supply Orders
  • Manage and track orders through Marketplace, our internal storefront for marketing materials and supplies, ensuring communities have timely access to approved resources.
  • Oversee community supply needs, including business cards, name badges, signage, premium items, and other branded materials.
  • Source and recommend branded merchandise, promotional items, and gifts to support community and company initiatives.
  • Collaborate with vendors to fulfill special or custom orders, ensuring quality standards and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels of essential supplies and proactively reorder to prevent shortages.
Event Planning & Special Project Support
  • Assist in the planning and seamless execution of company meetings and events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, vendor coordination, and preparation of materials.
  • Collaborate on event themes and décor, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience.
  • Work with vendors to order branded promotional items, awards, and event supplies as needed.
  • Provide on-site event support.
Take on additional duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the marketing team and company.

Qualifications
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years professional or industry-related experience.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Ability to effectively create and deliver new ideas in a team setting.
  • Ability to develop strategies based on industry trends and developments.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Decisiveness and strong problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely self-motivated with the ability to work independently when needed.
Essential Functions:
  • Ability to sit and stand frequently, and to work in front of a computer monitor for long periods of time.
  • Ability to speak and hear clearly using a multi-line telephone and in person.
  • Ability to read English and perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to travel as assigned to community events.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
Schedule and Benefits:
  • Work onsite at our Corporate Office in Lincoln, Nebraska Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
