Capital Region Co. Inc. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across two consumer brands within our portfolio.
This role works closely with leadership and plays an important part in coordinating brand presence across events, retail environments, digital platforms, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and capable of keeping marketing operations organized and moving forward.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to brand growth while gaining hands-on experience across marketing strategy, campaign execution, and experiential marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & Marketing Strategy Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives across two brands within the Capital Region Co. portfolio
- Support the implementation of marketing campaigns and brand positioning strategies
- Assist with coordination of product launches and marketing initiatives
- Help maintain brand consistency across marketing materials and communications
Event Marketing & Calendar Management
- Maintain and manage the company’s master marketing and events calendar
- Coordinate marketing materials and logistics for events, activations, and promotional opportunities
- Assist in planning and executing brand presence at trade shows, sponsored events, and community activations
- Prepare and organize event marketing kits, including signage, merchandise, and promotional materials
- Track event details including venues, addresses, schedules, and staffing assignments
Brand Ambassador Coordination
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating brand ambassador staffing for events and activations
- Communicate event details and expectations to ambassadors and field team members
- Ensure ambassadors are equipped with the necessary marketing materials and brand assets
- Track ambassador participation, schedules, and event coverage
- Help maintain organized records of events, staffing, and event outcomes
Sales & Retail Marketing Support
- Prepare marketing materials and product information sheets for retail partners
- Assist with development of promotional assets and marketing kits
- Coordinate retail marketing initiatives and promotional opportunities
Content & Marketing Coordination
- Assist with content planning and social media coordination
- Support scheduling of marketing communications and campaign timelines
- Coordinate with photographers, content creators, and designers on marketing assets
- Help maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules
Marketing Asset & Project Management
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries for marketing materials
- Track creative assets including logos, product imagery, and marketing collateral
- Coordinate production of merchandise, signage, and print materials
- Ensure internal teams have access to the most up-to-date marketing assets
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, events, or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable coordinating schedules, events, and multiple stakeholders

Compensation
Salary: $62,400 annually
