Marketing Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a high-energy, motivated Marketing Associate to help build and execute impactful marketing campaigns in a growing, mid-sized company rail automation . This role offers a strong leadership opportunity within the marketing function, with meaningful ownership over campaigns and day-to-day execution and access to senior executives.

You’ll work closely with sales and product engineering and application engineering, to turn strategy into action—driving brand awareness and the sale pipeline. This is an ideal role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to grow into increased responsibility and is ready to take ownership of projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and help drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, events, and social channels
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with sale and engineering groups to align messaging, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Own campaign timelines, deliverables, and execution from concept through launch
  • Create and manage marketing content including emails, landing pages, presentations, and sales enablement materials
  • Partner with sales leadership to support pipeline generation and revenue-focused marketing initiatives
  • Track campaign performance and prepare reports using tools such as Google Analytics, CRM, or marketing automation platforms
  • Manage marketing calendars, timelines, and project deliverables to ensure on-time execution
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels
  • Manage vendors, freelancers, or agencies as needed
  • Contribute ideas and take initiative to continuously improve marketing effectiveness
  • Support with website updates, SEO initiatives, and basic marketing operations tasks
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategy and messaging

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in a growth-stage or mid-sized organization
  • Proven ability to build and execute marketing campaigns, not just support them
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating across teams and influencing without authority
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and urgency

Nice to Have

  • Experience working closely with sales or revenue teams
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Basic design or content production experience (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Experience scaling marketing programs in a growing company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
