Marketing & Communications Manager
Some jobs promote products.
This one promotes dignity, inclusion, opportunity, and human connection.
At The Arc of Fayette County, we believe every person deserves to live a meaningful life filled with respect, belonging, independence, and choice. For decades, we have supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through compassionate services, community engagement, advocacy, and person-centered support.
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and mission-driven Marketing & Communications Manager to help lead and elevate the public voice of our organization.
This is not simply a social media or marketing support role. This position plays a key leadership role in shaping how our mission, programs, and impact are communicated to the community, donors, families, partners, employees, and stakeholders we serve.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — someone who can develop long-term communication initiatives while also creating compelling content, building relationships, supporting fundraising efforts, and telling meaningful stories with professionalism, authenticity, and heart.

Manage Digital & Social Media Engagement
- Oversee the agency website and ensure content remains current, engaging, and accessible.
- Develop and manage social media strategy and content across multiple platforms.
- Monitor engagement analytics and identify opportunities to increase visibility, community reach, and audience engagement.
Support Fundraising & Development Efforts
- Collaborate with leadership to support fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, sponsorship outreach, special events, and community partnerships.
- Assist with grant writing, impact reporting, donor stewardship communications, and development initiatives.
- Help strengthen donor confidence through meaningful communication and transparency regarding agency impact.
Build Community Relationships
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization within the community.
- Develop positive relationships with media outlets, community organizations, businesses, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders.
- Support public relations efforts, community events, and agency outreach initiatives.
