Role Overview
You will own our content engine end-to-end: website updates, blog publishing, LinkedIn, a monthly email newsletter, and content management for a video podcast. The ideal candidate combines clear, persuasive writing with basic SEO, light design chops, and the project management skills to keep a consistent publishing cadence.

Blog

Website Content

  • Update and optimize website copy in our Webflow CMS.
  • QA for clarity, grammar, brand voice, accessibility, and conversion best practices

LinkedIn

Monthly Newsletter

  • Build a concise, value-packed email with curated insights, new content, and firm updates.
  • Segment lists, set up A/B tests, track deliverability and engagement.

Video Podcast Content Management

  • Coordinate guest outreach, prep docs, and recording logistics for video and audio content similar to https://www.youtube.com/@jasoncpa/videos
  • Turn each episode into a package: show notes, blog recap, email blurb, LinkedIn threads, short clips/reels/audiograms, and simple thumbnails.
  • Upload and optimize to YouTube/host (titles, descriptions, chapters, tags).

Analytics & Ops

  • Report monthly on KPIs; propose experiments based on data.
  • Maintain content library, editorial calendars, and asset folders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in B2B content or demand marketing (professional services, finance, legal, or agency experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to write clearly about financial topics for non-financial audiences; portfolio/samples required.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals (Surfer/SEMrush/Ahrefs or similar).
  • Comfortable in a CMS (WordPress/Webflow), email platform (ConvertKit/Mailchimp/HubSpot/etc.), and basic design/video tools (Canva, Descript, CapCut, Adobe Express).
  • Strong project management: hit deadlines, manage stakeholders, and maintain a repeatable process.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with legal industry and/or law-firm operations; basic understanding of GA4 and UTM tracking; experience with Salesforce or another CRM.

Success Metrics (first 3–6 months)

  • Consistent publishing cadence; weekly LinkedIn; monthly newsletter; 1+ podcast episode/month with derivative assets).
  • Growth in engaged email subscribers and LinkedIn reach/engagement.
  • Organic traffic and keyword footprint trending up; improved time on page and conversions to lead magnets/consults.
  • A well-run editorial process (calendar, briefs, templates, SOPs) that reduces turnaround time.

Working Model

  • Full-time (preferred) or part-time contract considered.
  • Remote-friendly with availability for standing check-ins and guest recordings.
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience; benefits for full-time employees.
