Title: Marketing Coordinator

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports to: Owner

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing engaging social media content for Siren Media clients. While the primary focus is on organic social media content strategy, this role also coordinates SEO and digital campaign reporting with our clients. The position requires strong customer service, communication, organizational, and creative skills to manage day-to-day digital marketing needs for small businesses.

Essential Functions Statement:

Client Engagement & Account Management

  • Communicate with clients via email, meetings, and project updates.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments, and share relevant leads or issues with clients.
  • Prepare agendas, recap notes, and performance reports for client meetings.

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop monthly and quarterly content calendars, integrating trends, holidays, and client-specific initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients to align content strategies with business goals.
  • Create or coordinate content (copy, graphics, light photography).
  • Perform light graphic design and light video editing (Reels, TikTok, short-form) as needed.
  • Manage content approvals and revisions to stay on schedule.

Advertising & ReportingCoordination

  • Coordinate SEO and paid digital campaign reporting to share with clients.
  • Provide updates between clients and relevant team members with campaign optimizations and other changes.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media Strategist to manage basic paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn) as skills allow.
  • Track campaign performance and provide recommendations.

Project & Process Management

  • Maintain client projects in Asana, Cloud Campaign, and Google Drive.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure posts and ads run as intended.
  • Document workflows and contribute to process improvements for scalability.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Compile weekly and monthly ad performance metrics.
  • Support quarterly and annual reviews with analytics, insights, and recommendations for future strategy.

New Client Onboarding

  • Set up new social media accounts and ad platforms.
  • Define client goals, establish KPIs, and align strategy with branding initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role requires no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This hybrid/remote position operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and information management systems. Must reside within the OKC metro and be able to attend on-site meetings as needed.

Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hybrid position with variable working hours during the hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be required depending on client needs.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of agency or in-house marketing experience
  • Proficiency in Meta Business Platforms, Facebook & Instagram, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Canva, Slack, Asana, & Google Workspace.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with SEO campaigns, Website platforms (Squarespace, WordPress), paid media (Meta Ads, Google Ads/PPC, traditional media), TikTok/Reels video content production (concept, planning, shooting, editing, deployment).

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must be able to accomplish all duties with little to no assistance after initial training
