Marketing Coordinator

Location: Hybrid, based in Matthews, NC (must reside in metro Charlotte, NC area)

About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator at Proverbs 31 Ministries supports the Marketing Strategist and engagement team in executing strategic initiatives that inspire and empower women to apply God’s truth to their daily lives. As part of a mission-driven, collaborative team, the Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in amplifying our ministry’s message and helping to reach and impact more women.

What You'll Do

• Translate high-level marketing strategies into detailed, actionable marketing plans with clear deliverables. Outline the user experience across multiple digital touchpoints to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with the campaign goals.
• Maintain the communications calendar to ensure timely execution of initiatives.
• Work closely with the project management team on deliverables, objectives, and timelines.
• Pull, analyze, and synthesize campaign performance data for the Marketing Strategist, identifying key metrics and equipping the Marketing Strategist with the information needed for real-time adjustments and future campaign strategy planning.
• Coordinate with designers and content creators to set up emails, review for accuracy and schedule sends. Build segments and workflows.
• Monitor the performance of paid advertising across platforms in real time, providing ongoing reporting and collaborating on surfacing opportunities for optimization.
• Steward easy-to-follow guides and documentation for marketing processes, branding, and content creation—helping to equip current and future team members to serve with clarity, creativity, and consistency.
• Manage meeting schedules and assist ministry teams as needed.

What You'll Bring

• An understanding of and a commitment to the mission and values of Proverbs 31 Ministries.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, including performance reporting, campaign development, and digital marketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of best practices for omni-channel marketing and an engaging content strategy.
• Basic understanding of paid advertising strategy and platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads), with a desire to grow in campaign management and optimization.
• High attention to detail combined with organizational and task-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Google Docs, Slack) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot). Familiarity with Google Analytics and Meta Insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of compelling content that reflects the values and voice of Proverbs 31 Ministries.
