Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to execute marketing initiatives across all GEMS Brands locations.

This role focuses on:

  • Increasing in-store traffic
  • Driving direct orders (vs third-party delivery apps)
  • Building brand awareness
  • Launching promotional campaigns
  • Managing social media and digital marketing
  • Supporting local store marketing initiatives

Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Execution

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase customer traffic
  • Launch promotions, limited-time offers, and seasonal campaigns
  • Coordinate flyer drops, local partnerships, and community marketing
  • Execute strategies to convert Uber/DoorDash customers to direct ordering

Social Media & Content

  • Manage social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Create and schedule engaging posts, reels, and stories
  • Capture in-store content (food shots, customer reactions, behind-the-scenes)
  • Collaborate with influencers and local creators

Local Store Marketing

  • Build relationships with nearby businesses, schools, and community groups
  • Coordinate events, food tastings, and promotional partnerships
  • Execute guerrilla marketing campaigns and local activations

Digital Marketing

  • Manage online listings (Google, Yelp, etc.)
  • Monitor and respond to reviews and customer feedback
  • Support email and SMS marketing campaigns
  • Update website promotions and digital offers

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track marketing campaign performance
  • Monitor customer acquisition channels
  • Report on metrics such as:
  • Foot traffic increases
  • Campaign ROI
  • Direct order conversion
  • Social media engagement

Qualifications

Preferred experience:

  • 1–3 years in restaurant, hospitality, or retail marketing
  • Strong social media and content creation skills
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and social media scheduling tools

Bonus experience:

  • Restaurant marketing
  • Influencer collaborations
  • Local event marketing
  • Food photography

Pay: $42,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
