Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary
We're seeking a motivated Marketing Coordinator to handle our marketing efforts, support sales growth, and enhance our online and local presence. In this role, you'll manage digital marketing, create engaging content, generate leads, and assist with proposals and events—all while contributing to our positive, professional company culture. Reporting directly to the President, you'll have autonomy to execute ideas that drive business forward in our commercial roofing market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update our website, Google Business Profile, and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) — post project highlights, before/after photos, industry tips, testimonials, and promotions
• Create marketing content including flyers, email newsletters, case studies, graphics (using Canva or similar), blog posts, and proposal materials
• Capture, organize, and track leads from digital sources, inquiries, and events; maintain CRM with accurate customer/prospect data
• Support sales by preparing marketing sections for bids, qualifications packages, and presentations (project photos, company overviews, credentials)
• Coordinate local trade shows, networking events, sponsorships, and community outreach; handle booth setup and lead follow-up
• Monitor online reviews, respond to customer feedback, and ensure consistent branding across all materials
• Conduct basic market/competitor research and share insights to inform strategy
• Maintain marketing files, order promotional items (branded gear, signs), and track expenses/budget
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement growth-focused ideas

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
• 1–3+ years of marketing, digital marketing, administrative, or sales support experience (construction/roofing industry knowledge a big plus, but willing to train the right person)
• Strong computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with social media platforms, Canva/graphic tools, and basic website updates (WordPress or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication — professional, cheerful, and clear when dealing with customers and team members
• Basic graphic design and content creation skills (comfortable writing copy, proofreading, and creating visuals)
• Self-motivated with strong initiative; able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude, honest, straightforward, punctual, team player, and committed to professional appearance/hygiene

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
