Marketing Coordinator

Job Posting: Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Full time)

Avon Grove Library is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator who is passionate

about promoting library services and community resources. This position offers an exciting

opportunity to play a kay role in increasing awareness of Avon Grove Library’s diverse
programs and services. Avon Grove Library, a member of the Chester County Library System,

is in West Grove and serves a community of 34,000. The Marketing & Communications

Coordinator works under the supervision of the Library Director.

Essential Job Duties:

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will promote the library’s mission, services,
programs, and events through both print and digital communications. This position includes

responsibility for public relations, social media and website management, and graphic design.

Essential duties include designing marketing materials to inform our community about Avon

Grove Library through website management, electronic & print newsletter publication, social

media posts and accounts, flyer design, attending regular programming meetings, and taking

photos and videos of library activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and

abilities is acceptable. Typically this will include:

 Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
 Time management skills, and the ability to set priorities to meet deadlines.
 Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to foster and maintain positive working

relationships.

 Proficiency with MS Office and experience with (or ability to learn) Canva and
Constant Contact.

 Ability to develop effective content and update library website and social media
platforms.

 Skills in graphic design, photography, and video, including short-form video (eg, social
media reels).

Anycombinaotion of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities

Salary & Benefits:

This is a full-time 35-hour/week position with benefits. Starting salary is $38,000.
