Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the company's marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support business development efforts within the supply chain consulting and professional services sector. This individual will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns, managing digital presence, creating engaging content, and coordinating marketing events. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with a passion for marketing and an understanding of the B2B technology or consulting landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Campaign Execution:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and events.
- Coordinate the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, case studies, white papers, and website content, ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Support social media strategy and execution, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement monitoring.
- Digital Presence Management:
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company website content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with marketing objectives.
- Support search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to improve online visibility.
- Assist in managing the company's presence on professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
- Track and analyze website traffic and digital marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging and informative content that highlights the company's expertise in WMS and supply chain solutions.
- Assist in the creation of blog posts, articles, webinars, and other content formats.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Event Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of webinars, industry events, and conferences.
- Coordinate logistics, including registration, materials, and vendor management.
- Track event participation and follow up on leads generated.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct basic market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Assist in analyzing marketing campaign performance and providing recommendations for optimization.
- Administrative and Budget Support:
- Manage marketing budgets and track expenses.
- Maintain marketing databases and CRM systems.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, consulting, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Liaise with external vendors and agencies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a marketing coordinator role or similar, preferably within the B2B technology, software, or consulting services industry.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce or other CRM, contact database solutions like ZoomInfo, email marketing software, social media management tools, Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A basic understanding of the supply chain, logistics, or WMS industry is a plus.
