We are looking for energetic and creative Digital Communication & Marketing Coordinator to support our brand voice, digital presence, and audience engagement across all platforms. This is a junior-level role ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced marketing team under the guidance of our Owner & Master Distiller.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital Communication & Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development, implementation, and management of Liberty & Plenty Distillery's physical and digital marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, build brand loyalty, and increase sales across all sales channels, including direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B channels. This role blends creative content creation, data-driven marketing, and strategic storytelling to amplify our brand's mission and premium products. The role requires a hands-on, proactive team member with a strong desire to learn and grow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Physical Marketing
- Support the creation and distribution of physical marketing materials, including flyers, posters, signage, displays, and branded merchandise.
- Assist in coordinating with vendors for printing and delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with the Owner & Master Distiller to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all physical touchpoints.
- Help track inventory and manage distribution for promotional materials at events, tastings, and trade shows.
- Content Creation & Digital Storytelling
- Support the Social Media Manager in the development of compelling, on-brand digital content across platforms, including social media, website, email newsletters, and paid advertising.
- Contribute to the creation of video, photography, graphics, and written materials to promote Liberty & Plenty Distillery's products, events, and partnerships through digital communication channels
- Collaborate with internal teams and external creators to maintain visual and brand consistency.
- Social Media Management
- Assist the Social Media Manager in executing Liberty & Plenty's organic and paid social media strategies.
- Keep up-to-date with trends in the spirits and hospitality industry to support fresh and relevant content ideas and marketing efforts
- Email Marketing & Campaign Management
- Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns targeting consumers, on-premise accounts, and industry partners.
- Assist in implementing automated workflows and segmented campaigns for improved engagement.
- Help analyze campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Website & E-Commerce Management
- Assist in maintaining Liberty & Plenty's website, ensuring consistent updates and SEO optimization.
- Support the creation of engaging storytelling on product pages, blogs, and campaigns.
- Collaborate to identify opportunities for improving user experience.
- Paid Advertising & Digital Promotions
- Support the planning and execution of paid ad campaigns across social media and Google Ads.
- Assist with budget monitoring and targeting adjustments to optimize campaign results.
- Track performance and provide data to support ROI analysis.
- Brand Marketing & Partnerships
- Assist in the coordination of key partnerships, activations, and influencer marketing campaigns.
- Support public relations initiatives, such as press outreach and event promotions.
- Execute marketing campaigns around events, product launches, and partnerships.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance metrics across digital platforms.
- Help generate performance reports and provide initial insights to support strategy adjustments.
- Project Management and Tracking
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns and projects from start to finish.
- Assist in tracking timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Use project management tools to organize tasks and update the Owner & Master Distiller on progress.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or an internship/entry-level role; experience in the food & beverage, spirits, or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot).
- Knowledge of website content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or equivalent).
- Understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
- Expertise with graphic design/photo tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Copywriting for marketing campaigns, product descriptions, and other marketing materials
- Creative Skills: Strong writing, storytelling, and visual content creation abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Collaborative, communicative, and eager to learn from senior leadership.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with influencer campaigns or partnerships.
- Familiarity with North Carolina's beverage industry.
- Exposure to DTC strategies or e-commerce platforms.
- Understanding of marketing compliance for the alcohol industry
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Annual Salary: $55,000 per annum (based on approximately $26.50/hour pay)
- Paid Time Off: 10 per annum, accrued over time, plus recognized company holidays.
