Duties
- Develop high-quality copy for a wide range of marketing materials including website content, blog articles, social media posts, email campaigns, video scripts, print advertisements, and promotional collateral.
- Write across multiple styles and formats — from technical, research-driven educational content to emotionally compelling feature stories and creative social media content — while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, designers, and leadership to produce cohesive campaigns that align with brand guidelines, product messaging, and marketing goals.
- Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, industry trends, environmental health topics, and the competitive landscape in order to develop authoritative and engaging content.
- Optimize content for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure strong visibility in both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search platforms.
- Assist with content strategies designed to help the brand appear in AI-generated answers and conversational search tools by structuring content for authority, credibility, and clear information retrieval.
- Develop content that supports thought leadership in indoor air quality, environmental health, and wellness, translating complex scientific and technical information into clear, engaging language for consumers and professionals.
- Manage content calendars and ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials across platforms.
- Edit and proofread all content meticulously to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand tone and messaging.
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to publish, update, and maintain content.
- Apply branding principles consistently across all communication channels to strengthen brand identity and customer trust.
- Monitor performance metrics of digital campaigns and content initiatives, using insights to refine messaging and improve engagement and conversion.
Skills
- Proven experience in copywriting, content marketing, journalism, or related roles with a strong portfolio demonstrating both creative storytelling and technical or research-driven writing.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research tools, and how search algorithms influence content visibility.
- Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and strategies for improving brand visibility within AI-powered search tools and generative answer engines.
- Understanding of how AI search platforms source, summarize, and reference online content, and how to structure content to increase the likelihood of being surfaced in AI-generated responses.
- Ability to translate complex scientific, health, or technical concepts into clear, engaging content for both expert and general audiences.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and copy editing skills to ensure polished final products.
- Strong research abilities and intellectual curiosity to develop credible, authoritative content.
- Proficiency in social media marketing strategies and platform-specific best practices.
- Experience working with Shopify, HubSpot, or other content management systems (CMS).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Background or familiarity with health, wellness, environmental health, or indoor air quality topics.
- Basic graphic design or visual content experience, including familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
- Experience collaborating with designers to produce integrated visual and written marketing assets.
- Interest in mission-driven storytelling that helps educate consumers about environmental health and wellness.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
