Build and lead a high‑performance marketing engine that translates strategy into measurable revenue growth through the sales of new commercial maintenance, enhancements, installation and tree services, expanding qualified pipeline, improving win rates in priority metros, and accelerating share gains across commercial segments—while making Yellowstone Landscape feel locally trusted and nationally strong. Partner closely with Business Development and field leadership to equip Sales Managers and General Operational Managers with market‑specific messaging, proof, and pursuit tools; collaborate with HR to attract, engage, and retain top talent through authentic employer branding.
Core Responsibilities
1. Annual Sales Goal Enablement (Primary Scoreboard)
- Own marketing strategy and execution that directly supports achievement of Yellowstone’s annual sales targets.
- Drive new commercial maintenance customer acquisition through increased opportunity flow and improved market positioning.
2. Priority Metro Growth Execution
- Lead concentrated marketing support in Yellowstone’s largest growth markets:
Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Orlando, Washington, DC.
- Allocate resources disproportionately toward these metros while maintaining scalable support for all branches.
3. Regional Sales Manager + General Manager Partnership (Local Growth Execution)
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to Regional Sales Managers and General Managers.
- Translate local revenue goals into market-specific messaging, campaigns, and sales support.
- Ensure marketing efforts align with branch priorities and competitive realities in each market.
4. Local Legacy + Local Trust Positioning (“Yellowstone Feels Local Everywhere”)
- Build market-specific branding that highlights Yellowstone’s long-standing presence through legacy companies and deep customer relationships.
- Develop localized customer proof and storytelling engines that reinforce trust and continuity.
5. Vertical Flexibility by Market
- Support branch leadership in selecting the highest-return verticals locally.
- Develop vertical-specific messaging, case studies, and proof points for commercial office/industrial, healthcare, retail, and other key segments.
6. Proposal Differentiation + Major Pursuit Support
- Create proposal systems and pursuit playbooks that clearly differentiate Yellowstone beyond price.
- Equip sales teams with proof-point libraries, case studies, and “Why Yellowstone Wins” narratives to increase win rates.
7. Other Lines of Business, Enhancement and Add-On Expansion (Secondary Growth Lever)
- Support Yellowstone’s other service offerings including Tree Care, Interior, snow and ice management, irrigation, plant healthcare.
- Develop campaigns that increase revenue per account through enhancements and seasonal add-on services.
- Support account expansion while maintaining new customer growth as the primary emphasis.
8. Scalable Branch Marketing Operating System (Hybrid Model)
- Build consistent brand standards, templates, and branch-ready marketing toolkits.
- Provide “marketing in a box” for smaller markets while investing deeper in priority cities.
9. Competitive Differentiation in a Commoditized Industry
- Own Yellowstone’s “Why We Win” narrative across markets and verticals.
- Ensure differentiation reflects responsiveness, safety, scale, and enhancement capability.
10. Social Media + Content Engine
- Maintain Yellowstone’s brand voice across enterprise social channels.
- Enable authentic local branch storytelling through templates, governance, and localized content.
- Amplify local customer success stories, community presence, and proof of work in-market.
11. Website + Digital Experience + SEO/AI Optimization
- Own YellowstoneLandscape.com as a growth and credibility platform for prospects and customers.
- Lead SEO strategy and optimize for AI-driven discovery to increase qualified commercial visibility.
- Ensure inbound inquiries are routed correctly and digital touchpoints reflect professionalism and trust.

This role provides enterprise-level marketing leadership across a multi-market, growth-oriented organization.
1. Enterprise Marketing Strategy Ownership
- Own development and execution of enterprise marketing strategy aligned to corporate growth priorities.
2. Executive Partnership & Visibility
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and present performance insights and market intelligence.
3. Budget Ownership & ROI Accountability
- Own the annual marketing budget, resource allocation, and ROI performance across channels and markets.
4. Digital Growth & Performance Leadership
- Own enterprise digital marketing strategy and performance across web, search, content, paid media, and emerging AI channels to drive measurable pipeline growth and market visibility.
5. Revenue Operations & Data Alignment
- Partner with Sales Operations and IT to ensure CRM integrity, attribution clarity, and funnel visibility.
6. Brand Governance & Risk Management
- Own brand standards, governance, and risk mitigation across branches and acquisitions.
7. Acquisition Integration & Brand Transition
- Lead marketing integration for acquired companies, balancing legacy trust with enterprise consistency.
8. Employer Brand & Workforce Support
- Partner with HR to support recruiting, retention, and workforce growth through employer branding.
9. Internal Enablement & Change Leadership
- Drive internal adoption of marketing initiatives through communication, training, and enablement.
10. Marketing Organization Development
- Build and scale the marketing organization, defining future roles, capabilities, and partnerships.
