Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute a long-term, integrated marketing strategy that supports the company's overall business goals and drives growth across the MEA region -4-9.
- Lead the annual marketing budget process, ensuring effective allocation of resources to optimize performance and maximize return on investment -4-5.
- Act as a key business partner to the CEO and executive committee, shaping commercial strategy and driving growth -1.
Brand Management & Positioning
- Oversee the development, positioning, and growth of the company's portfolio of brands, ensuring consistency and relevance in brand messaging and consumer engagement -4-9.
- Bring the brand promise to life at every customer touchpoint, ensuring a cohesive and premium brand experience -1.
- Lead brand communication, advertising campaigns (ATL/BTL), and oversee all new product launches -9.
Digital Transformation & Performance Marketing
- Lead the digital marketing transformation agenda, leveraging emerging technologies, e-commerce platforms, and digital channels to enhance consumer reach and engagement -4.
- Oversee SEO/SEM, social media, content marketing, and CRM strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty -1-2.
- Partner with e-commerce and commercial teams to support online revenue growth and ensure a seamless omnichannel customer experience -2-7.
Consumer Insights & Market Intelligence
- Utilize data-driven consumer insights to drive decision-making, adapting global strategies to local tastes, cultural nuances, and market conditions -4.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify new growth opportunities and guide product innovation -5-9.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, multi-functional marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence -4-5-7.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
Stakeholder & Agency Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, local partners, distributors, and media agencies -4.
- Manage relationships with external creative, media, and PR agencies to ensure the successful execution of marketing plans -7-9.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master's degree is strongly preferred -4-5.
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role -1-4-9.
- Industry Expertise: Proven track record of success in the [FMCG / Retail / Luxury / Tech] sector and deep understanding of the Middle East & Africa markets -4-9.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and people management abilities, with experience leading large, cross-functional, and multicultural teams -4-5.
- Digital Savvy: Deep proficiency in digital marketing strategies, e-commerce, and leveraging data and analytics to drive performance -1-4.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies while remaining agile to adapt to changing market dynamics -4.
- Commercial Acumen: Excellent analytical and financial acumen with a strong understanding of P&L management and revenue generation -1.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership and external partners -4-5.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage -4-5.
