Marketing Executive

Headquartered in London, Global Event Partners is a dynamic international event organiser, specialising in conferences and exhibitions across a wide range of countries and industries. We deliver high-level platforms that connect senior decision-makers and drive business growth across global markets.

With offices in London, Cairo, Medellin and Paramaribo, and a growing portfolio of events across 15+ countries, we are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Cairo office and support the delivery of marketing campaigns across our international event portfolio.

Role Overview

The Marketing Executive will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to support the execution of marketing campaigns. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in event marketing.

You will play a key role in supporting delegate acquisition, campaign delivery, and event promotion, while ensuring marketing activities are executed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across multiple events.
  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and reporting of email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
  • Manage and update event websites to ensure all content is accurate and up to date.
  • Support LinkedIn marketing activities, including posting, scheduling, and basic campaign support.
  • Maintain and update contact data and campaign lists within Salesforce.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including email content, newsletters, and promotional copy.
  • Support delegate marketing efforts to drive registrations and attendance.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing activities with lead generation and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor and report on basic campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-throughs, registrations).
  • Assist in coordinating with media partners and external stakeholders.
  • Support on-site marketing activities during events when required.

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent English (written and spoken) – essential.
  • Hands-on experience or familiarity with Mailchimp, LinkedIn, and Salesforce is highly preferred.
  • Strong interest in event marketing and digital campaigns.
  • Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of email marketing and social media best practices.
  • Ability to work with data, manage lists, and support campaign execution.
  • Basic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe tools) are a strong plus.
  • Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
