Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern looking for an opportunity to help a new local business grow. The internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing strategies, content creation, and analytics, while earning school credits. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong communication skills, and a desire to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. As a Marketing Intern, you will support various marketing initiatives, contribute to campaign development, and learn about the latest tools and techniques used in the industry.

Duties

  • Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Support content creation for blogs, social media posts, email newsletters, and website updates using content management systems like WordPress.
  • Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO tools to optimize website content for search engines.
  • Help manage and analyze performance marketing campaigns using Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other analytics tools.
  • Contribute to conversion optimization efforts by analyzing user behavior and suggesting improvements.
  • Assist with graphic design tasks using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design tools.
  • Support email marketing campaigns through platform management and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate on SEM strategies including Google AdWords campaigns to increase online visibility.
  • Participate in marketing automation initiatives to streamline campaign workflows.
  • Monitor social media engagement and manage social media accounts with social media management tools.
  • Support B2B marketing efforts by creating compelling content tailored for target audiences.
  • Perform basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or SQL tasks as needed for website updates or data analysis.

Skills

  • Familiarity with SEO tools, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google AdWords, and SEM strategies.
  • Experience with content creation, copywriting, and social media management.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and content management systems like WordPress.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL is a plus but not required.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including performance marketing, conversion optimization, email marketing, and marketing automation.
  • Ability to analyze data using analytics tools to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail in graphic design and content development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
