The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company’s integrated marketing strategies to promote its FinTech products and services, drive merchant and customer acquisition, and enhance brand visibility in alignment with Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Corporate Governance Guidelines. This role leads cross-functional campaigns, digital engagement, content creation, event marketing, and brand positioning efforts while ensuring regulatory compliance in all public communications.
The Marketing Manager supports business growth across POS solutions, payment gateways, wallets, and digital services, ensuring the company’s brand remains competitive, credible, and customer-centric in the FinTech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing Planning
- Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy and budget aligned with company objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Identify target segments, buyer personas, and competitive positioning across the company's product suite.
- Translate business goals into campaign objectives, KPIs, and tactical execution plans.
2. Digital & Content Marketing
- Oversee the digital presence, including website, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and social media marketing.
- Plan and manage performance-driven campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and regional platforms.
- Lead content strategy development including blogs, videos, case studies, thought leadership, and product guides.
3. Brand Management & Communications
- Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels and ensure all marketing materials align with QCB disclosure and communication guidelines.
- Develop and manage PR activities, press releases, media engagement, and corporate communications.
- Supervise design and production of collaterals including brochures, banners, infographics, and POS materials.
4. Product & Merchant Marketing
- Collaborate with the Product, Sales, and CX teams to create and launch go-to-market plans for POS, wallet, card, and gateway solutions.
- Design merchant engagement campaigns, loyalty programs, and transactional incentive initiatives.
- Create product-focused marketing assets including FAQs, tutorials, onboarding kits, and sales enablement tools.
5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct ongoing market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights to support strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, market penetration, and customer experience improvement.
6. Event Marketing & Partnerships
- Plan and execute the company’s participation in industry events, trade shows, fintech expos, and speaking engagements.
- Support the business development team with co-branded campaigns, partnerships, and cross-promotional activities.
7. Team Leadership & Agency Management
- Lead a team of marketers, content creators, and digital specialists; oversee performance, mentorship, and alignment.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, creative agencies, and digital marketing consultants.
8. Compliance & Risk Awareness
- Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns adhere to QCB's Corporate Governance Guidelines, advertising standards, and anti-misinformation rules.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance to review financial promotions and product claims.
- Maintain detailed documentation for marketing approvals, disclaimers, and audit purposes
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Marketer, CIM, Digital Marketing Certification) preferred.
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably within FinTech, banking, payments, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record in multi-channel campaign management, brand development, and digital marketing leadership.
