Obsessed Pickleballers is a US-based sports brand focused on pickleball coaching, camps, and community building across the United States. The brand is rapidly growing and is building a strong digital presence to engage with its audience, promote its programs, and scale its community.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who can take ownership of building and scaling the brand’s organic social media machine. This is a hands-on and strategic role that requires a strong blend of creativity, communication, and execution.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to build content ecosystems, manage teams, and drive consistent engagement and growth across platforms. You will be responsible for turning ideas into execution, managing content pipelines, and ensuring that the brand’s voice is consistent, engaging, and aligned with its audience.

This role requires someone with exceptional communication skills, strong management capabilities, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic marketing strategy across social media platforms
  • Build, manage, and scale the brand’s organic social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Plan and oversee content calendars, ensuring consistency and alignment with campaigns
  • Lead and manage creative resources (designers, video editors, content creators)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize content based on insights
  • Identify trends, viral formats, and opportunities to increase reach and engagement
  • Ensure strong brand positioning, tone, and storytelling across all platforms
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and retention through organic strategies
  • Support marketing initiatives for camps, events, and digital products
  • Continuously improve processes to build a scalable content and marketing system

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or content strategy roles
  • Proven experience in building and managing organic social media growth
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content strategies
  • Experience managing teams or cross-functional resources
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with sports brands or sports-related communities (highly preferred)
  • Experience in agency environments or managing multiple brands
  • Familiarity with US-based audiences and content trends
  • Background in content creation, storytelling, or digital media
  • Experience working in fast-paced, growth-driven environments
