Marketing Manager (Inbound Demand Generation)

Location: Onsite – Bengaluru | Work Type: Full-Time
Compensation: ₹20–30 LPA + ESOPs (Annual Bonus + Stock Options)
Reports To: Founder / CEO
Timezone: US Overlap (3 PM – 12 AM IST)
Target Market: United States (Pre-Seed to Series A startups)

About the Company

A VC-funded (Seed–Series A) Accounting & Compliance SaaS startup is hiring a Marketing Manager (Inbound Demand Generation) to drive SEO, content, and performance-led growth for US early-stage startups.

You’ll work directly with the founders to establish a scalable inbound pipeline, build brand visibility, and automate marketing operations — laying the foundation for long-term, organic demand generation.

What You’ll DriveFirst 90 Days

  • Audit current marketing channels and develop a 12-month inbound growth strategy targeting US startup ICPs.
  • Establish strong SEO + AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) foundations to rank for high-intent accounting and compliance searches.
  • Launch the first multi-channel inbound campaign (content + paid + events).
  • Implement a marketing tech stack using tools like HubSpot, Clay, Semrush, and Webflow.

First 180 Days

  • Build a consistent inbound lead pipeline with measurable growth in demos and MQLs.
  • Achieve brand recall among 50%+ of the US pre-seed startup ecosystem within 12 months.
  • Scale content and thought leadership through blogs, guides, webinars, and founder-led storytelling.
  • Build and manage a small internal team or agency pod covering SEO, content, and performance marketing.

Success Metrics / KPIs

  • Inbound MQL volume & demo request growth (MoM)
  • SEO rankings and organic traffic improvement
  • Campaign ROI / Cost per Lead (CPL)
  • Brand visibility across target startup communities and events
  • Funnel automation efficiency and reporting via HubSpot / Clay

Candidate Profile

Experience: 5–8 years in B2B SaaS inbound demand generation with proven US market experience.

Must-Have Skills:

  • End-to-end inbound ownership (SEO, SEM, content, performance marketing).
  • Proven playbooks for engaging founder/CFO personas and startup audiences.
  • Hands-on with HubSpot, Webflow, Semrush, LinkedIn/Google Ads, and automation tools.
  • Strong editorial and storytelling ability for technical/financial content.

Good-to-Have:

  • Experience in FinTech, TaxTech, or Accounting SaaS.
  • Event/community marketing and AI-assisted content operations.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, Business, or Communications.

Other Requirements:

  • Excellent written English.
  • Comfortable working in US overlap hours.
  • Must be onsite in Bengaluru.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,600,000.00 per year
