Structura, Inc., a growing manufacturer of commercial lighting products, is searching for a talented marketing person to develop and execute all marketing efforts for a growing company. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to participate in the planning of every aspect of company marketing, which directly influences organizational success. The role requires a challenging combination of setting market strategy, guiding outsourced efforts and designing customer communication and sales support materials using design software. Title: Marketing Manager / Specialist

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

What you will be doing:

• Partnering with the company leadership and sales teams to establish marketing strategy, execute vision and develop/manage a budget to guide annual marketing initiatives • Overseeing website updates & design modifications
• • Working with the design team to oversee thorough product launches with marketing efforts
• • Partnering with sales organization on coordination of customer/employee events & trade shows
• • Representing Structura at customer events and trade shows (from time to time)
• • Create, design and distribute content on various platforms, including social media, monthly digital newsletter, marketing emails, website, collateral, etc.
• • Overseeing brand standards to ensure consistency in application of our company identity
• • Oversee outside vendors when required (ex. web developer, graphic design, photography, video production)
• • Overseeing the event planning and details of rep/customer events/factory visits
• • Overseeing company apparel and promotional orders
• • Overseeing samples allocation across the entire rep network

What you bring to the table:

• • Passion for leading all company marketing efforts, with the ability to operate autonomously
• • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or related field
• • 2-5 years of marketing experience and sales support
• • Demonstrated ability to produce written pieces of various lengths, as well as editing copy for grammar and style
• • Confidence in professional settings – comfortable networking and creating connections with customers, vendors and industry partners
• • Proficiency with graphic design software (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop)
• • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Apple Keynote, etc.
• • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• • Proficiency with data analytics
• • A can-do team attitude
• • Affinity for details and the ability to juggle multiple coinciding projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points:

• • Website management experience is a plus
• • Lighting/rep agency experience is ideal, but not required
